Amir Adel

I am a first year master's student in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Alberta. I completed my Honours Bachelor of Sciences degree at the University of Toronto with majors in Human and Animal Physiology and a minor in Immunology. During my education, I have grown fascinated by the boundless capabilities of biomedical advancements such as novel MRI techniques in the diagnosis of complex neurological diseases. As an undergraduate, I have been avidly involved in a variety of clinical and animal neurophysiology research projects. My graduate work focuses on development and validation of high resolution diffusion tensor imaging methods in temporal lobe epilepsy. I'm excited to join Neuro Nexus as an innovator to expand my expertise in the field of neuroimaging and to get to know and collaborate with amazing neuroscientists.
