I am a second year master's student in mathematics studying statistical machine learning. I have undergraduate degrees in political science and economics and mathematics. I am particularly interested in the social and political consequences of transformative technologies such as machine learning, and trying to determine ways in which machine learning can have positive rather than destructive effects on our world.
